overview

What Clico does

Clico puts chat, image and video models from several AI labs behind one credit balance. In Clico Web you chat, research and run creation tools: an image generator and editor, image to video, a talking-head video generator, a short drama generator, product video makers, and builders for simple websites and browser games. An Auto option picks a model for you. You can attach PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, MD, CSV and XLSX files (up to ten per request, 8MB each and 20MB combined), plus images, audio or video when the chosen model supports them.

The Chrome extension started as Clico's original product: it drafts and rewrites text inside editors and text boxes, summarises web pages, YouTube videos and PDFs, answers questions about screenshots or selected text, and can auto-type into Google Docs. The Mac app brings the same assistant to other Mac apps. Invoko, a separate Mac assistant, has merged into Clico, and Clico says legacy Invoko paid subscribers are proposed to move to Pro at their next renewal.

Clico pricing

PlanMonthly billingYearly billingCredits per monthWhat it adds
Free$0-200Chat and Image modes, a selection of chat and image models; no video
Pro$19.90$192 a year ($16 a month)2,000Video mode, the full chat model list (32 listed), paid image and video models, enhanced routing, download website and game source
Max$49.90$480 a year ($40 a month)5,000Same model access as Pro with 2.5 times the credits

Clico does not publish a fixed credit cost per action; it says usage depends on model, image quality, resolution, video length and reference inputs. As a guide, its pricing page says Pro's 2,000 credits cover about 500 GPT Image 2.5 images or about 20 Seedance 2.0 Mini videos (10 seconds, 720p, 16:9, audio off). On monthly Pro that works out to roughly 4 cents per image ($19.90 / 500) or about $1 per short video ($19.90 / 20). Max costs about the same per credit ($49.90 / 5,000 = about 1 cent).

Yearly plans are paid upfront but credits are still issued monthly. Unused credits do not roll over. When credits run out, credit-based actions pause until the monthly refresh. Cancelling (through Billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal) stops renewal and keeps paid access until the end of the period already paid. Taxes are added at checkout. The pricing page does not state a refund policy.

best for

Who Clico is best for

Clico suits people who want one subscription for everyday writing help inside the browser plus occasional image and short video generation, without paying for separate chat and video apps. The Chrome extension is the distinctive part: it works in the text box you are already typing in rather than in a separate chat tab.

If you mainly want a browser sidebar for reading and writing, compare Sider, Merlin or Monica, which have longer track records as extensions. If you need browser automation such as page monitoring and scraping, HARPA AI is built for that. Clico's website and game builder does not include backends, user accounts or payments; those need separate setup.

what users say

What users say

Independent feedback on Clico is still thin. The Chrome Web Store listing shows 4.6 out of 5 from 16 ratings and about 2,000 users. On Product Hunt, Clico was ranked number one product of the day on March 29, 2026, but the reviews page shows no written reviews yet. AIChief reviews the writing extension and likes that it removes tab switching and needs no API key, but its free-tier details describe an older plan and do not match Clico's current pricing. There are no long-term user reviews yet of the newer image, video and website tools.
