Stork's verdict on Braiv

Braiv’s all-in-one YouTube workflow turns long videos into clips, thumbnails, and dubbed versions, but its publishing focus leaves creators on other platforms juggling separate tools.

overview

What Braiv does

Braiv bundles the jobs around publishing a video. Braiv Shorts finds hooks in a podcast, webinar or keynote, reframes them to 9:16 and also builds standalone clips and trailer-style promos. Braiv Thumbnails watches the video and designs a thumbnail without a prompt, can learn a brand guideline from your channel's best thumbnails, and scores any thumbnail out of 100 on five criteria with a one-click fix. Braiv Connect writes titles and descriptions and auto-publishes to one or more YouTube channels, including improving videos already live.

On the localization side, Braiv Dubbing produces dubbed versions with cloned voices, an editable transcript and optional AI lip sync, Braiv Speech is a text-to-speech and voice design tool, Braiv Transcription covers 100+ languages, and Braiv Player is an embeddable player that switches audio and subtitles to the viewer's browser language. A newer product, Braiv Capture, cleans up and re-voices screen recordings for support videos and was on a waitlist when checked. Braiv does not say which AI models it uses.

At Dubbing Plus rates the monthly credits cover about 33 minutes on Starter (600 / 18), 225 on Pro (2,700 / 12) and 600 on Business (5,400 / 9), which is about $0.16 a minute on Pro ($35 / 225) and $0.12 on Business ($70 / 600). Overage dubbing costs $0.36 a minute on On Demand (18 x $0.02), $0.27 on Starter, about $0.14 on Pro and $0.09 on Business. Thumbnails and Shorts also draw on credits, at rates not itemised. best for

Who Braiv is best for

Braiv suits YouTube creators, podcasters and small media teams who want one tool to package each upload, with shorts, a thumbnail, a title and dubbed language tracks, and who publish on YouTube most of all. Rollover credits and the pay-as-you-go plan make it forgiving for irregular output.

If you only need dubbing with lip sync, VMEG publishes its per-minute rates in more detail. For clipping alone, OpusClip and WayinVideo are more established. If thumbnails are the main job, dedicated thumbnail tools offer more design control.

what users say

What users say

Independent reviews are scarce. Braiv's listings on SourceForge and iTechGuides had no user reviews when checked, and the site's own claim of 100,000+ creators could not be verified. A June 2026 roundup of thumbnail makers by Fastio, a file-workspace company, liked that Braiv reads the transcript instead of needing a prompt and offers click-through scoring and A/B testing, but noted it needs an existing video and has a smaller user community than established tools.
