Short answer: the best AI animation generators in 2026 are Morphic if you want shot-by-shot control with keyframes, inbetweening and a timeline (Basic $19 a month), OiiOii if you want a whole animated short from one prompt, written, storyboarded and scored by a team of AI agents (BASE $17 a month), Anijam if you want to make anime-style story shorts by chatting (Beginner $16 a month billed annually), and ngram if what you need is a product explainer or training video built from your own docs (Basic $29 a month). How we checked: plans, prices and credit rates come from each vendor's own pricing and help pages, read November 3, 2026. We did not generate the same scene in every tool, so this guide compares plans, prices and features, not animation quality. Cost per second is our arithmetic on those published numbers. Prices are in US dollars and change often.
What you are actually buying
None of these four builds its own top video model. Each one runs third-party models it names on its own site, such as ByteDance's Seedance, Kling, Google's Veo and Wan, and adds an interface on top: a canvas, a chat agent, a pipeline of agents, or a storyboard you approve. You pay in credits, and credits are spent per second of video at a rate set by the model and the resolution. So the honest way to compare them is what one second of finished video costs, and what you get for the markup.
Cost per second, compared
| Tool and plan | Price and credits | Model at 720p | Credits per second | About per second |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Morphic Basic | $19/month, 2,400 credits | Wan 3.0 | 14-17 | $0.11-0.13 |
| Morphic Basic | $19/month, 2,400 credits | Seedance 2.5 | 33-40 | $0.26-0.32 |
| Morphic Basic | $19/month, 2,400 credits | Veo 3.1 with audio | 46 | $0.36 |
| OiiOii BASE | $17/month, 1,310 credits (310 from daily check-ins) | Wan 3.0 | 7 | $0.09 ($0.12 without check-ins) |
| OiiOii BASE | $17/month, 1,310 credits | Kling 4.0 | 17 | $0.22 ($0.29 without check-ins) |
| Anijam Creator | $26/month billed annually, 6,000 credits | Wan 2.7 | 32 | $0.14 |
| Anijam Creator | $26/month billed annually, 6,000 credits | Seedance 2.0 | 55 | $0.24 |
| ngram Basic | $29/month, 3,000 credits | Premium models (Veo 3, Kling, Seedance) | 10 | $0.10 |
| ngram Basic | $29/month, 3,000 credits | ngram-flash | 3 | $0.03 |
Two things stand out. The same model costs very different amounts: Wan 3.0 at 720p is about 9 cents a second on OiiOii's entry plan if you collect every daily check-in, and 11 to 13 cents on Morphic Basic. And these are prices before retries. Every shot you regenerate is billed again, so a scene that takes three attempts costs three times the table figure, and Anijam's subscriptions are non-refundable.

Which tools people are searching for
Stork pulled estimated Google search traffic for each domain from DataForSEO Labs on November 2, 2026. These are estimates of visits from Google search, not user counts. Morphic is the breakout: about 30,000 a month in July to about 266,000 in October. Anijam went from about 2,900 to about 16,000, OiiOii from about 3,900 to about 15,000, and ngram from about 2,600 to about 12,500. In Google Ads data, "ai anime generator" averaged about 5,400 US searches a month and "ai animation generator" about 3,600 (monthly data ends September 2026).
Morphic: for animators who want control
Morphic is a browser canvas with three parts: a prompt bar where you pick the model and mode (text, image or reference to video, frames to video for inbetweening between your keyframes, video to video, lip sync, upscaling), a Copilot chat that can plan a shot list and run batches, and Compose, a timeline for cutting, color, captions and audio. Saved references keep a character or style consistent, a 3D Scene editor and a Blender add-on let you block camera and characters before generating, and timelines export to Final Cut Pro or Resolve. No plan carries a watermark.
On the pricing page and help center, read November 3, 2026: Basic is $19 a month (2,400 credits), Standard $29 ($24 billed yearly, 3,625 credits), Pro $49 ($45 yearly, 6,350 shared credits for up to 5 users) and Max $185 ($170 yearly). Basic went from $9 to $19 in September 2026; earlier subscribers keep $9. Plan credits reset monthly, and Copilot replies cost about 11 to 14 credits each on top of the generations they start, while manual edits in Compose are free. Credit packs start at $25 for 2,500. The 20-credit Free plan is only enough to look around.
OiiOii: a whole short from one prompt
OiiOii splits the job across seven agents: Art Director, Scriptwriter, Character Designer, Scene Creator, Animator, Editor and Sound Engineer. From one prompt they write a script, design characters and scenes, storyboard, generate the shots, add music and cut the result, and you can regenerate any single shot without redoing the rest. It runs in the browser, as a desktop app and from a CLI, on more than 25 third-party models including Seedance, Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Wan and Suno for music.
The pricing page, read November 3, 2026, lists BASE at $17 a month ($48 a quarter, $182 a year), STAR $46, PRO $156 and APEX $363, plus team plans from $69 a month. BASE's 1,310 monthly credits include 310 that you only get by checking in daily, subscription credits expire after 31 days and check-in credits after 3 days. Video models are for members only, so the free tier is mostly for trying image and storyboard steps. The page runs constant countdown promotions with discount badges of up to 91.9%, so the price you see may differ from the one here. We found no independent user reviews yet.
Anijam: anime and story shorts by chat
Anijam works like a chatbot for video: describe the scene, or hand it a script, image or audio, and it builds the shots on models such as Seedance 2.0, Kling, Wan, Hailuo and Gemini Omni Flash. Its formats cover anime, 3D and cartoon styles, story series, short dramas, music videos and ads. On the pricing page, read November 3, 2026, plans are shown at annual-billing rates: Beginner $16 a month ($192 a year, 3,000 credits, 720p, no consistent characters), Creator $26 (6,000 credits, 1080p, 10 consistent characters, Seedance 2.0), Master $58 and Master Pro $166. Paid plans remove the watermark and include commercial rights. Top-ups ($10 for 1,500 credits and up) last 365 days.
Read the terms before you commit: all subscription payments are non-refundable, and switching plans charges the full new price. On Trustpilot it scored 2.2 out of 5 from 10 reviews as of November 3, 2026, a small sample, with complaints about credits spent on failed or off-prompt results and billing after cancelling. Start on a monthly plan, not annual.

ngram: explainers and training videos from your docs
ngram is the business-video option. You describe the video and attach files, web pages or a screen recording; ngram writes a script and lays out the scenes as a plan you approve before it spends credits on generation. It can add an AI presenter, browse your product for a walkthrough and apply a brand kit, and you request changes in plain language or in a timeline. Premium shots use models such as Veo 3, Kling, Seedance and Grok Imagine.
Per its pricing page and credits docs, read November 3, 2026: Basic is $29 a month ($23.20 billed yearly) for 3,000 credits and 720p downloads, Premium $59 ($47.20 yearly) for 10,000 credits, 1080p, a custom voice and avatar, and Ultimate $299 for 4K and team access. Premium video costs 10 credits a second and its own ngram-flash model 3, so Basic buys 300 premium seconds, about $5.80 a minute, and Premium about $3.54 a minute. Top-ups never expire. The free plan cannot download MP4s and is for non-commercial use only.
How to choose
- You draw keyframes or storyboards and want to direct every shot: Morphic.
- You want a finished short with script, characters and music from one idea: OiiOii, and use it every month or the credits lapse.
- You make anime-style episodes and need the same character each time: Anijam Creator or higher, monthly first.
- You need launch, onboarding or training videos for a product: ngram.
- You only need one clip from one model: go direct to a model app such as Kling and skip the markup.
Whichever you pick, do the math on one scene before you subscribe: seconds you need, times credits per second for the model you want, times the retries you expect. That number, not the plan headline, is your real price.
