overview

What Morphic does

Morphic describes itself as an intelligent canvas and end-to-end editor for controlled video generation, aimed at animators and filmmakers. You work on a Canvas where images, clips and sections sit side by side, and pick a model and mode in the prompt bar: text to video, image to video, reference to video, frames to video (inbetweening between keyframes), video to video, lip sync and upscaling. Copilot (also called Chat) can plan a shot list, write prompts, pick models and run batches for you, and Compose is a timeline editor for cutting, color, captions and audio.

There is no install: it runs in the browser, with an optional Blender add-on and a 3D Scene editor for blocking camera and characters before you generate. Saved references keep a character, style, product or object consistent across generations. Morphic runs third-party models it names on its site, such as Seedance 2.5, Kling 4.0, Veo 3.1, Wan 3.0, Seedream 5.0 and ElevenLabs voices, and everything is paid for in one pool of credits.

The public pricing page shows the yearly figures; the monthly-billing prices come from Morphic's help center Plans page. Plan credits reset every month on both billing periods and unused ones do not roll over. Paid users can buy credit packs: $25 for 2,500, $100 for 11,110, $250 for 29,400 and $500 for 62,500 credits, valid for 180 days per the pricing page (the help center says 90 to 180 days depending on the pack). Copilot replies cost credits on top of generations (about 11 to 14 credits per reply on the Auto model in a new chat), while manual editing in Compose is free. Basic went from $9 to $19 in September 2026; earlier subscribers keep $9 with 1,100 credits.

What the credits buy depends on the model. Using Morphic's typical rates, Basic's 2,400 credits cover about 141 to 171 seconds of Wan 3.0 at 720p (14 to 17 credits per second) or about 60 to 72 seconds of Seedance 2.5 at 720p (33 to 40 credits per second), before any retries.

Prices checked on the vendor's pricing page on November 3, 2026. See Morphic pricing.

best for

Who Morphic is best for

Morphic suits animators, storyboard artists, small studios and game teams who want shot-by-shot control: keyframes, inbetweening, consistent characters, camera blocking and a real timeline, with many models behind one bill. The team plans make sense for a few people sharing one credit pool.

It is a poor fit for someone who wants a finished short from a single prompt with no decisions along the way; agent tools such as OiiOii or Anijam are built for that. The 20-credit Free plan is only enough for a look around, so budget for at least Basic to try it on real work.

what users say

What users say

Independent reviews are thin. Morphic's Product Hunt page had no reviews as of November 3, 2026, and its G2 listing showed a feature list rather than substantive user reviews. We found no Reddit or Trustpilot discussion of the current product. Until more users weigh in, judge it on the Free plan and a month of Basic rather than on ratings.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Morphic cost?

Free is $0 with 20 one-time credits. Paid plans run from Basic at $19 a month (2,400 credits) to Max at $185 a month, or $170 a month billed yearly (24,650 credits). Standard is $29 monthly or $24 yearly, and Pro is $49 monthly or $45 yearly. See morphic.com/pricing.

Is Morphic free?

There is a Free plan, but it gives 20 credits once, not every month, with limited models, one saved reference and no upscaling. Free users cannot buy credit packs. Morphic does not add a watermark to exports on any plan, Free included.

Does Morphic add a watermark?

No. Morphic's help center says no plan adds a Morphic watermark to an export, including Free.

Which AI models does Morphic use?

Morphic runs third-party models it lists on its site and in its credit tables, including Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 and 4.0, Veo 3.1, Wan 3.0, Hailuo 2.3, Grok Imagine, Seedream 5.0, ChatGPT Image and ElevenLabs voices. Copilot chat can run on models such as Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok or Kimi, each with its own credit cost.

Can I keep a character consistent in Morphic?

Yes, through saved references. A reference can be a character, style, product or object built from one or more images, and Morphic uses one image from it when you generate. Creating a reference costs no credits. Free allows 1 reference, Basic through Max allow 100 and Enterprise has no limit.

Do Morphic credits roll over?

Plan credits do not. They reset each month on monthly and yearly billing, and unused ones expire. Credit packs bought on top of a paid plan keep their own expiry date, and failed or cancelled generations are refunded.
