How it works

60 seconds of your time; days of downstream work on ours.

  1. Step 01

    Paste your URL

We scrape and validate in real time — name, logo, description, pricing, category. If anything's off, you see it before paying.

  2. Step 02

    Review & pay

Preview exactly how your card will render. $49 one-time — no badge required, instant Test Lab verification, ships within the hour. Stripe-embedded checkout, no redirect.

  3. Step 03

    We do the distribution

8 locale pages with schema.org. IndexNow pings to Google and Bing. Agent-pull traffic from the Stork meta-MCP, available in every major IDE.

What $49 actually buys you

We wrote this page because we were tired of the answer being buried in a post-purchase email.

Agent-pull distribution

Your listing lives in the index that Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed call through mcp.stork.ai. Every agent discovery session in those IDEs is a chance to surface your tool.

8-language landing pages

EN, FR, ES, DE, JA, KO, PT, RU — machine-translated, human-reviewed, each with a canonical URL and hreflang. Search traffic from Paris, Tokyo, and São Paulo finds you on day one.

AI-engine schema

JSON-LD tuned for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview. FAQPage, SoftwareApplication, AggregateRating, BreadcrumbList — the structured data that makes AI answer engines cite you.

Permanent, not a launch day

One payment, no renewal, no expiry. Your page stays live and gets re-scraped as your product changes — pricing, features and screenshots stay current without you touching it.

IndexNow + sitemap pings

Google, Bing, and Yandex get notified the moment your listing goes live. Average time to first index: under 24 hours.

Test Lab for MCP servers

MCP servers run through Test Lab verification automatically, showing live response times and uptime on your listing.

Pricing

Simple. Transparent. No subscriptions to list — you pay once when you list, and we do the distribution work.

Three indie makers who listed, got pulled, and told us about it.

Listed on a Tuesday, hit the top of the trending grid by Friday. Cursor users were pulling it before I'd even finished the README.

Product Hunt was one good day. Stork is every week. The schema they ship means Perplexity actually cites us now — that's the real unlock.

4× traffic vs PH
The agent-pull dashboard is the part I didn't know I needed. Watching Claude Desktop pull my MCP server in real time is absurdly motivating.

Questions we actually get

Do I have to pay to list?
It's $49 one-time — or free: add the 'Listed on stork.ai' badge to your site (see stork.ai/badge) and the fee is waived for as long as the badge stays up. Either way your tool ships within the hour, and rejections are fully refunded.
What exactly do I get for $49?
8-language landing pages (EN, FR, ES, DE, JA, KO, PT, RU), schema.org markup tuned for ChatGPT / Perplexity / Google AI Overview, instant Test Lab verification for MCP servers, and IndexNow pings to Google and Bing within the hour — with no badge on your site required. The listing itself is identical to the free path; the $49 adds an AI-visibility report: what ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok answer when buyers ask about your category, and whether they name you.
How do agents actually find my tool?
Stork runs as a remote MCP server (mcp.stork.ai) that Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed install with one line. When a developer in any of those IDEs asks their agent to find a tool, the agent calls stork_tools_search or stork_search and pulls ranked results. Your listing is in the index the moment it ships.
Can I buy my way to the top?
No. The browse grid is ordered newest-first and nobody can buy a spot in it. Featured placement buys a clearly-labeled slot above the grid for a fixed window — it never changes the grid's order. Every paid surface says so on its face, which is the point.
What if my submission gets rejected?
Rejections are refunded in full. Most rejections are for URL issues (not publicly reachable, not AI-related, NSFW, or duplicate). You'll see the reason inline in the form before payment — we validate and scrape before accepting your card.
Can I update my listing later?
Yes. Approved listings have a dashboard view with stats, featured-placement purchase, and delete. For copy changes, email support@stork.ai and we'll edit without a re-submission fee.
Is there an API for builders?
Yes — free tier is 100 req/day. See /developers for endpoints (search, recommend, compare, alternatives). Pro ($99/mo) and Enterprise ($499/mo) raise limits.
How quickly does a listing go live?
Most listings go live within the hour. Paid listings are then index-pinged to Google and Bing within the day via IndexNow. Free (badge) listings ship the same way — the badge check runs the moment you click verify in the flow.

Not a builder — consuming the API?

The REST endpoints and MCP-protocol spec are documented separately.
