TL;DR / Key Takeaways
- We did not buy a video: this covers the free steps and prices only.
- The free moodboard (three stills and a treatment) is a genuine preview before paying.
- A full 3:33 song was quoted at 7,455 tokens, which only the $129.99-a-month plan covers.
- BASIC appeared at $42.99 and at $29 a month on the same day.
Verdict, with a limit: we did not buy a One More Shot video, so this review covers its free steps and its prices, not its output. The free part is good: a four-step wizard and a moodboard with three stills and a written treatment. The paid part is steep for one video: our full song was quoted at 7,455 tokens, which only its $129.99-a-month plan covers, and a 30-second cut at 1,050 tokens was offered with a $29-a-month plan. Checked on Google Play (US), October 16, 2026.
How we tested: on October 16, 2026 we installed each app from Google Play (US) on a Pixel 6 Pro and tried to make the same thing in each: a music video for the brief "a happy birthday song for my wife Anna", starring the same photo (an AI-generated portrait, not a real person). Apps that only animate a song you upload got the same finished track. We paid with our own money for Sondo, Yuna and Mozart. We did not buy a One More Shot video: we went through its free steps and recorded its prices. StarSinger's clip and full video were made the same day through the app's normal purchase flow; for StarSinger we report its listed one-time prices. Prices are what the apps showed us that day, before tax, and change often.
What One More Shot is
One More Shot, listed on Google Play as "AI Music Video Generator - 1MS" (Google Play listing, App Store listing), turns a song you upload, or a Suno link, into a performance or lyric video. Its Google Play screenshots name the video models it uses (Veo 3.1, Kling 2.5, Seedance, Sora, Wan 2.5). It is the only app we looked at whose store description states its price model ("optional subscriptions and token packs"). On October 16 its App Store rating was 4.17 (3,644 ratings) and its Google Play rating 3.09 (3k ratings, 100k+ installs).
The free steps
- Sign up with Google: 50 free tokens.
- Step 1, format: Performance Video (needs one photo of the singer) or Lyrics Video (no photo).
- Step 2, song: upload an MP3 or WAV, or import from Suno; trim it.
- Step 3, photo: "One clear photo is enough: we use it to keep the same face across every shot." Up to three other characters (beta).
- Step 4, brief: one or two sentences, vertical or horizontal, and a style (Realistic, 90s Anime, a Ghibli-like look, LEGO, Pixel Art and more).
- Moodboard: three stills of the singer on a desert road trip and a paragraph of treatment, labelled a low-fidelity concept preview. Free.
The moodboard stills held the face from our photo well, but they are stills, and the app itself warns that the final locations and outfits may differ. We cannot tell you how the moving video compares.
What the video would cost
| Option | Tokens quoted | Plan that covers it |
|---|---|---|
| Full song (3:33), Standard | 7,455 (10,650 before a 30% first-video discount) | ULTRA, $129.99/month (10,000 tokens) |
| Full song, High-Quality | 11,928 | HYPER, $444.99/month (35,500 tokens) |
| 30 seconds, Standard | 1,050 (1,500 before discount) | BASIC, offered at $29/month (3,250 tokens) |
Where One More Shot wins and loses
- Wins: the most guided creative flow we saw; a real moodboard before you pay; styles beyond realistic; imports Suno links.
- Loses: a full-song video needs a monthly plan above $100; two different BASIC prices; we cannot judge the output because we did not buy it.
In the most recent App Store reviews we collected, 43% of 1 and 2 star One More Shot reviews mention credits or tokens. See Weekly subscription traps in AI music apps.

Frequently asked questions
How much does One More Shot cost?
On Google Play US on October 16, 2026 it showed monthly plans BASIC $42.99 (3,250 tokens), ULTRA $129.99 (10,000) and HYPER $444.99 (35,500), plus a $29-a-month BASIC offer after we trimmed a song to 30 seconds. A full 3:33 song was quoted at 7,455 tokens.
Is One More Shot free?
Sign-up gives 50 free tokens and the moodboard is free. A video needs more tokens than that: 1,050 for 30 seconds in our test.
Did you test One More Shot's video quality?
No. We went through the free steps and recorded the prices but did not buy a video, so we make no claim about its output.
Can One More Shot use a Suno song?
Yes. Step 2 of its wizard accepts an uploaded MP3 or WAV or a Suno link.
