MotionSites Review 2026: Pricing, Free Prompts, and Is It Worth It?

TL;DR / Key Takeaways

  • MotionSites is a prompt library, not a website builder: you paste its prompts into Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0, Claude or Replit.
  • Pricing on November 1, 2026: $129 every 3 months, $279 a year, $399 lifetime, or prompt packs of 2, 5 or 10 for $49, $99 or $149.
  • Free accounts can open 3 free prompts, and the Academy video tutorials are free; the 500+ prompt library needs a plan or a pack.
  • Purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, so start with the free prompts or a $49 pack.
  • Worth it if you build landing pages often in an AI builder; for one site, a pack or a free component library is cheaper.

Short answer: MotionSites is a library of 500+ copy-paste prompts for animated, cinematic landing pages that you run in an AI builder such as Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0 or Claude. It costs $129 every 3 months, $279 a year or $399 one-time for lifetime access, or $49 for a pack of 2 prompts. Free accounts can open 3 prompts. It is worth it if you build landing pages often; for a single page, buy a small pack or start with free component libraries.

How we checked: we read MotionSites' own plan page, MCP page, Academy, terms and refund policy, plus the few third-party reviews that exist. We did not buy a plan. Prices checked on each vendor's own pricing page on November 1, 2026. Some links are affiliate links: if you sign up, the vendor may pay us a commission at no cost to you. It never changes our picks.

What MotionSites is

MotionSites is a gallery of finished website designs, each backed by a long, structured prompt. You browse hero sections, full landing pages, footers, pricing sections, app screens and 3D sites, open one, copy the prompt and paste it into an AI builder. The builder writes the code. MotionSites does not build or host your site, which is the single most important thing to understand before paying.

Around the prompts, paid plans add animated video backgrounds, page sections, 40+ Lovable templates, community access and an MCP server. The business is run by a sole trader, Viktor Odainyi, who publishes tutorials as Viktor Oddy on YouTube.

MotionSites plans from its Go Unlimited page, checked November 1, 2026. Prices in USD. Your AI builder is billed separately.

All three plans include apps, animated backgrounds, sections, the Lovable templates, the MCP server, community access, priority support and use on personal and client work. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and stay active to the end of the period. The lifetime price is shown as a discount from $759, so treat the $399 figure as a promotion that could change.

What is free on MotionSites

  • 3 free prompts: the MCP page says free accounts can open 3 free prompts; paid plans unlock all 500+.
  • Academy tutorials: free videos on prompting, animation and 3D, each showing the prompt used in the build.
  • Browsing the gallery: you can preview every design before buying.

If you are searching for MotionSites free prompts, that is the honest limit: three prompts, not the library. For more free material, our list of free animated landing page prompts maps free and open-source options to each part of the paid pack.

How it works with Lovable, Bolt and other builders

  • Pick a design in the MotionSites gallery and copy its prompt.
  • Paste it into your AI builder. MotionSites' FAQ names Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, Claude, v0 and Replit.
  • Let the builder generate the page, then change the copy, brand colours and images.
  • Publish from the builder, which handles hosting and deployment.

If you work in a coding agent, the MCP server skips the copy step. One command registers it in Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, a browser window asks you to sign in, and your agent can then pull MotionSites prompts when you ask for a design. No API key is needed.

MotionSites' own terms say results depend on the tool you use and that no outcome is guaranteed. The same prompt can come out differently in Lovable and in Bolt, and a builder's free tier may run out of credits on a long prompt. Lovable's free plan, for example, gives 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month.

Who MotionSites is for

Pick MotionSites if you are a freelancer, agency or indie maker who already pays for an AI builder and ships several landing pages a year. The value is a strong animated starting point instead of a generic AI layout, and a licence that lets you publish and sell the sites you build for clients.

Skip it if you need one page once, do not use an AI builder, or enjoy writing your own design prompts. A $49 pack or a free component library will cover a single launch for less.

Honest limits

  • No refunds in normal cases: the refund policy treats lifetime plans and prompt packs as final once delivered. Refunds cover double charges, charges after cancelling and access problems, within 14 days.
  • Two bills: you pay MotionSites and your AI builder.
  • Fair-use cap on the cheapest plan: the 3 Months plan allows 3 prompt copies a day.
  • Prompts stay private: the terms forbid reselling, redistributing or republishing the prompt text or code.
  • Few independent reviews: Product Hunt shows no reviews yet. An October 2026 review on ToolCenter praised the animated and 3D focus but flagged the separate builder cost and that it is a one-person business.

Is MotionSites worth it?

For regular builders, yes. Against the lifetime price of $399, three or four client landing pages a year spread the cost quickly, and the yearly plan works out at about $23 a month. For a one-off project, the maths flips: a $49 pack of 2 prompts is the sensible way to try it, after you have used the 3 free prompts to see how they render in your builder.

MotionSites alternatives

  • Lovable, Bolt or v0 on their own: write your own prompt and skip the library. Fine if you are comfortable describing animation and layout in detail.
  • Wegic: a chat-based AI website builder that designs and hosts the site, no prompt copying needed.
  • 21st.dev: a UI component marketplace with its own MCP; the free tier allows 2 component copies a day and the Builder plan is $6 a month billed yearly.
  • Magic UI: 150+ free, open-source animated React and Tailwind components you paste in as code.

Frequently asked questions

How much does MotionSites cost?

On November 1, 2026 the Go Unlimited page listed $129 every 3 months, $279 a year and $399 one-time for lifetime access. Prompt packs cost $49 for 2 prompts, $99 for 5 and $149 for 10. All prices are in USD.

Is MotionSites free?

Only partly. MotionSites' MCP page says free accounts can open 3 free prompts, and its Academy tutorials are free to watch. The full library, the animated backgrounds, sections and Lovable templates require a paid plan or a prompt pack.

Where can I find free animated landing page prompts?

Start with the 3 free prompts in a free MotionSites account. For more free options, Stork keeps a list of free animated landing page prompts and open-source component libraries at https://www.stork.ai/free-animated-landing-page-prompts.

Does MotionSites work with Lovable and Bolt?

Yes. MotionSites' FAQ says to paste prompts into AI builders like Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, Claude, v0 or Replit. Paid plans also include 40+ Lovable templates. The terms note that results depend on the builder and are not guaranteed.

Can I get a refund from MotionSites?

Usually not. The refund policy says digital purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, and lifetime plans and prompt packs are final. Refunds are offered for double charges, charges after cancelling or access problems they cannot fix, if you ask within 14 days.

Can I use MotionSites designs for clients?

Yes. The plans say "For personal & client work" and the terms allow you to publish or sell the sites you build. You cannot resell or republish the prompt text or source code itself.

Is MotionSites worth it?

It is worth it if you already pay for an AI builder and ship several landing pages a year, where the $399 lifetime plan spreads across projects. For a single site, a $49 two-prompt pack or a free component library such as Magic UI costs less.
