Short answer: the best Durable alternatives in 2026 are Squarespace if you want a polished site with invoicing on every plan ($19 a month billed yearly), Wix if you need bookings and a store in one place (bookings from Core, $29 a month billed yearly), GoDaddy Airo for the lowest first-year price with appointments ($24.99 a month on an annual plan), and B12 if the CRM, invoicing and email marketing are the reason you chose Durable ($78 a month). 10Web suits people who want WordPress underneath. Durable itself starts at $22 a month billed yearly. Updated November 2, 2026.
How we checked: plans, prices and features come from each vendor's own pricing and help pages, read November 2, 2026 (10Web, Hostinger, Lovable and Bolt.new on October 30, 2026). Prices are in US dollars. What we say about Durable's AI comes from our own hands-on test of six AI website builders on October 30, 2026; we did not build a site in every tool below, so this guide compares plans and features, not design quality. What Durable costs and what you would need to replace
Durable writes a small-business site from a few questions and bundles the tools a service business runs on. Launch is $25 a month, or $22 billed yearly ($264 a year): your own domain (or a free one up to $20), unlimited bookings synced to your calendar, a built-in CRM, AI blog posts and 1,000 AI credits a month. Grow is $49, or $41 billed yearly, and adds unlimited team members, full-site translation and 5,000 credits. The free plan is a private preview on a durable.site subdomain with 300 credits in total; publishing needs a paid plan.
So the real question when you leave is which of these you actually use: the website, the bookings, the CRM, or invoices and payments. Most alternatives below do the website better and cover one or two of the others; only B12 bundles nearly all of them.
Why people look for a Durable alternative
- The AI draft needs checking line by line. In our October 30 test, the site Durable generated at sign-up included customer testimonials with names and job titles we never supplied and a 555 placeholder phone number, and its AI chat could not build a one-page site from a written brief.
- Limited design control. Cybernews found no grid editor (you reorder sections rather than place elements) and a single invoice template.
- No real online store. Durable's own FAQ says it is not built for ecommerce; Squarespace, Wix and GoDaddy sell products on their mid-tier plans.
- Domains. Durable's domain transfer policy only releases a domain registered through Durable after the subscription has been active three consecutive months, with nothing owed. The 1- and 2-star reviews on Trustpilot, where Durable scores 4.8 from 333 reviews overall, return to domain transfers and weekend support.

Squarespace: the best site for the money
Squarespace plans are $19, $29, $49 and $99 a month billed yearly ($25, $39, $65 and $139 monthly), each with a free custom domain for the first year on an annual term. Its Blueprint AI builds a multi-page site from a few answers. Invoicing, estimates and contracts are included on every plan with no invoice transaction fees; you connect a payment processor. Store sales carry a 2% fee on Basic and none from Core up. Scheduling is the gap: Acuity Scheduling is a separate subscription from $16 a month ($20 billed monthly) for one calendar.
Wix: bookings and a store on one plan
Wix builds a site from a prompt on every plan, including the free one. Light ($17 a month billed yearly) is the first plan that takes your own domain but cannot accept payments or bookings; Core ($29) adds payments, basic ecommerce and scheduling, and Business ($39) adds standard ecommerce. Wix lists these as yearly prices in USD for reference and notes that prices vary by location, so check yours at checkout.
GoDaddy Airo: cheapest first year, watch the renewal
GoDaddy Airo has a free plan for building and previewing sites with 50 AI credits a month. Starter is $9.99 a month on an annual plan ($19.99 monthly) with payment links, marketing campaigns and AI blog posts; Professional is $24.99 annual ($49.99 monthly) and adds appointment bookings, online payments and deposits, and a product catalog. GoDaddy says annual plans include an extra first-year discount and its pricing page does not show the renewal price, so ask before you commit. Removing Airo branding is listed as coming soon, even on the top plan.
B12: if the CRM and invoices are why you picked Durable
B12 is the closest match to Durable's bundle. The Website plan ($24 a month) gives a custom domain (free for the first year), 100 AI credits and ecommerce. Website + Client Engagement ($78 a month) adds client intake, a contact manager, email marketing, contracts with eSignature, online payments and invoicing. New users pay $1 for the first 7 days. Bookings are not native: B12 connects to Calendly, or its AI agent can build a booking page.
10Web, Hostinger and Mixo
- 10Web: an AI-built site on a real WordPress install, so bookings, invoices and stores come from WordPress plugins you choose. AI Starter is $10 a month billed yearly ($20 monthly) for one site, with a 3-day trial.
- Hostinger: Premium is $2.49 a month on a 48-month prepaid term and renews at $10.99, so it is cheapest only if you prepay and remember the renewal. Ecommerce starts on Unlimited.
- Mixo: the simplest option, a fast AI site for collecting enquiries. Business Site is $20 a month (20% off on annual billing) with a free domain for the first year; there are no native bookings, invoices or CRM.

Want a custom site instead? AI app builders
If what frustrated you was the template, the AI app builders did the job Durable's chat could not in our test: Lovable and Bolt.new each turned one paragraph into a complete one-page site in about three minutes. Both start at $25 a month for a custom domain. They suit someone happy to keep editing by chat; they do not come with bookings or a CRM.
Before you switch: get your domain and content out
Check the exit before the entrance. Durable releases a domain only once it is eligible under its transfer policy, so start that early, and copy your pages, images and customer list out of the CRM before you cancel. The cautionary tale is Hocoos, another questionnaire-style AI builder: its pricing page now says it is no longer operating, and sites and data that were not downloaded by April 23, 2026 were permanently deleted. Whichever builder you choose, register the domain somewhere you control, or confirm you can transfer it out.
Which one to choose
- You want a better-looking site and can live without built-in bookings: Squarespace.
- You take bookings and sell products: Wix Core.
- You want the lowest price this year: GoDaddy Airo, after asking for the renewal price.
- You rely on the CRM, invoices and email marketing: B12.
- You want WordPress and its plugins: 10Web.
- You mainly use bookings and the CRM and just want it cheaper: stay on Durable Launch; nothing here does all of it for less.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Durable?
Squarespace for a more polished site with invoicing on every plan (from $19 a month billed yearly), Wix if you need bookings and a store (Core, $29 a month billed yearly), and B12 if you want a CRM, invoicing and email marketing in one plan ($78 a month).
Is there a cheaper alternative to Durable?
On the website alone, yes: GoDaddy Airo Starter is $9.99 a month on an annual plan with a first-year discount, 10Web is $10 a month billed yearly, and Hostinger is $2.49 a month on a 48-month term (renews at $10.99). Once you add bookings and a CRM, Durable Launch at $22 a month billed yearly is hard to beat.
How much does Durable cost?
Launch is $25 a month or $22 billed yearly, and Grow is $49 a month or $41 billed yearly. The free plan is a private preview only; publishing a site needs a paid plan.
Can I transfer my domain away from Durable?
Yes, if the domain was registered through Durable, your subscription has been active for at least three consecutive months and nothing is owed. You contact Durable's team, who provide the authorization code. A domain you connected from another registrar stays with that registrar.
Does Durable have ecommerce?
Durable's own FAQ says it is not built for ecommerce. For an online store, Squarespace (0% store fee from Core), Wix (from Core) or GoDaddy Airo Professional are better fits.
Is Hocoos still available?
No. Hocoos's pricing page says it is no longer operating, and sites and data not downloaded by April 23, 2026 were permanently deleted.
