Short answer: no. Suno generates songs, not video. Its own release notes say that for its Hooks feature, "Suno doesn't generate the video for you": you pair your own footage with a song. Suno can make short looping cover visuals, but a full music video means exporting your song to a video tool, or generating the song and video together somewhere else. Updated October 14, 2026.
How we checked: prices and features below come from each vendor's own pricing, help or release-notes page, read on October 14, 2026. We did not render the same song in every tool, so this article says nothing about output quality. Anything we could not confirm on an official page is marked as unverified, and prices change often, so check the vendor before you pay.
What Suno does and doesn't do with video
From Suno's release notes and pricing page:
| Feature | What it is | Is it a music video? |
|---|---|---|
| Hooks (September 2025) | Pair your own video with a song, free | No. You supply the video. |
| Cover Art loops (July 31, 2026) | A short looping visual for a song's cover, up to about 10 seconds, vertical | No. It is a loop, not a full video. |
| v6 (September 9, 2026, paid plans) | Accepts video as an input to help make music | No. Video goes in; a song comes out. |
We found no feature in Suno that generates a video from a song. If you saw a "Suno music video" somewhere, it was almost certainly made by a separate tool using a Suno song.
Three ways to get a music video for a Suno song
1. Export the song and use a video tool
Download the audio, then upload it to a tool that builds video from a finished track. Freebeat and Neural Frames are the two most often named; Freebeat is reported to accept MP3/WAV files and Suno links, though we could not confirm the link import on its own site. Neither writes songs, so this route keeps your Suno song untouched. See our comparison of AI music video generators.
2. Make the song and video together in another tool
If you have not committed to a song yet, a tool that does both skips the export step. StarSinger and Google's Flow Music both generate a song and a video; see AI song and music video in one tool. The trade-off is that you are using a different song generator than Suno.
3. Edit it yourself
Use Suno's Hooks feature or an editor such as CapCut (free tier, then $19.99 a month for Pro) to put your own footage or clips under the song. It takes the most effort and gives the most control.

Check the licence before you post the video
This is the part people skip. On Suno's pricing page, the free plan (50 credits a day, newer v6-mini model only) comes with no commercial rights, while Pro ($8 a month) and Premier ($24 a month) include them. A video built from a free-plan song is therefore a poor fit for a monetised channel or a paid campaign. Check the terms for the plan the song was created on, and the terms of the video tool as well: free tiers of video tools often watermark exports and restrict commercial use too.
Frequently asked questions
Does Suno have a video generator?
No. Suno makes songs. It has video-adjacent features (Hooks, looping cover art, video as input for v6) but none that generates a music video from a song.
What is the best tool to turn a Suno song into a video?
Freebeat is built for full videos from a finished track, and Neural Frames for audio-reactive visuals. Which is better depends on the look you want. We compare them in our roundup and our alternatives guide.
Can I monetise a music video made from a free Suno song?
Not on Suno's terms as listed on its pricing page: the free plan has no commercial rights. Paid plans do. Always check the current terms.
Is there a tool that makes the song and the video together?
Yes. StarSinger and Google's Flow Music both generate a song and a video. Their free tiers, prices and limits differ; see the comparison.
