RoomGPT Pricing in 2026 — and the Room Redesign Tools That Publish Theirs

You want to see your living room in a different style before you spend a dollar on furniture. AI room-redesign tools do exactly that — upload a photo, pick a style, see it transformed. The friction in 2026 is not the technology, which is genuinely good across the board. It is finding out what any of it costs.

What each tool actually charges

Why the pricing is so hard to find

Redesigning a room is usually a one-time decision. You are renovating, redecorating, or staging a listing — you are not going to do it again next month. Yet almost the entire category is sold as a recurring subscription, and the cheapest way to sell a subscription to someone with a one-time need is to show them the result first and the price later.

That is the pattern behind both of the annoyances people complain about: the paywall that arrives after you have already seen your own room restyled, and the pricing page you cannot read without an account. Neither is a technical limitation. Both are conversion design.

The contenders, honestly

RoomGPT — fast, popular, and the one most people have heard of. Gives you a couple of free renders, then asks for an account. The recurring criticism is the order of operations: you see the paywall after the result, not before, and you cannot check the price up front without signing up.

Interior AI — the most capable of the group, with virtual staging aimed at realtors, and priced accordingly at $49 to $199 a month. Annual billing drops that to roughly $29 to $99 a month equivalent. There is no free tier advertised, so evaluating it means paying first.

ReimagineHome — the fairest of the subscriptions. 5 free designs with no card, then $14 a month for 30 credits up to $99 for 900, where a design costs one credit and a design with real product matching costs two. Aimed at real-estate professionals but usable by anyone.

The renders are good everywhere. What differs is how much you have to commit before you find out.

Where Stork fits

Stork's AI room redesign inverts the order: upload a photo, pick from ten styles — Modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, Bohemian, Industrial and more — and see your redesigned room free and watermarked, five previews a day. Only when one is worth keeping do you pay $3.99 to download it, or $2.99 if you hold credit. The price is on the page before you upload anything.

It keeps your room's real layout, walls and windows and changes the furniture, decor and colour, so the result looks like your space rather than a stock photo. It will not stage listings at volume the way Interior AI does, and it is not trying to.

How to choose

  • One or two rooms before you redecorate — use a pay-per-image tool, or ReimagineHome's 5 free designs. Do not start a subscription for this.
  • Staging listings at volume — Interior AI or ReimagineHome's higher tiers genuinely earn their fee; the per-render cost collapses at that usage.
  • You want to compare styles on your own room first — pick whichever tool lets you see the result before it asks for a card.
  • You are price-checking RoomGPT — you will have to sign in. That is the answer, and it is worth knowing before you start.

Redesign your room free on Stork — see it in any style first, and pay once only for the one you keep.
