Medeo Review

Medeo turns a chat into a video. You describe what you want, or start from a URL, an image or a script, and its agent writes the plan, generates or picks footage, adds AI voices, music and subtitles, and assembles scenes. You then edit by asking ("make this part faster", "change the music") or by dragging clips, sound and subtitles on a visual track that stays synced to the script. It keeps a character's look across scenes, has a library of stock images, video and hundreds of AI voices, and exports in 16:9 and 9:16, up to 1080p from the editor.

Medeo is a front end to third-party models and names them: video from Seedance 1.5 to 2.5, Kling 2.5 to V3 and O1, Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast, Sora 2, Hailuo H3, Wan 2.6 and 3.0, PixVerse V6 and C1, Grok Imagine, Happy Horse and Gemini Omni; images from GPT Image 1.5 to 2.5, Nano Banana 2 and Pro, Seedream 4.0 to 5.0, Midjourney and Grok Imagine; voice from ElevenLabs, Minimax, Azure, Volcengine and Moyin TTS; music from Suno and ElevenLabs. It also offers single tools such as upscaling, background removal, face swap, an outfit changer and a watermark remover. The site footer gives a Singapore address.

On Pro at the monthly price a credit costs about 5.6 cents ($39 / 700). Medeo publishes per-second rates in credits, so length depends on the model: Kling V3 at 1080p costs 3.13 credits a second, so 700 credits buy about 223 seconds (3.7 minutes), roughly $0.17 a second; Veo 3.1 at 1080p costs 6.66 a second (about 105 seconds); Seedance 2.0 at 1080p costs 12.11 a second (about 58 seconds); Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p 1.76 (about 6.6 minutes); Grok Imagine Video at 720p 1.32. Voice is charged per character (ElevenLabs TTS 0.004 credits, Azure 0.0005), music per minute (Suno V5 3 credits), and the chat LLM per actual API call. Stock-heavy videos stretch credits about ten times further than full AI footage, per Medeo's own estimates.

The annual toggle reads "Save 20%" and "Extra Save 20%". Premium models such as Sora 2, Kling 2.6 Pro, Hailuo 2.3 and Seedance 1.5 Pro are paid-plan only.

Medeo suits faceless YouTube channels, explainer makers and marketers who want a multi-scene video from a chat and still want a timeline to fix details. Its published per-second rates and the stock-footage option make it easier than most agents to predict what a video will cost.

On Trustpilot, Medeo scored 4.1 out of 5 from 48 reviews when checked. Reviewers praise how easy it is to use, helpful support and the plan mode that previews a video before credits are spent. Complaints include credits lost when a video fails to generate, no refunds for unused credits, slow generation, and one reviewer saying they were signed up for a full-year plan without realising it. A review on Media.io, a competing tool, likes the chat agent and visual track but warns that full-AI video uses credits quickly when scenes need regenerating and that chat is imprecise for frame-level edits.
