TL;DR / Key Takeaways
- Kaspr, Lusha, Snov.io, Apollo, Prospeo and RocketReach all document a Chrome extension that works on LinkedIn profiles; Snov.io, Lusha and Kaspr also name Sales Navigator.
- Hunter's help center says Hunter cannot integrate with LinkedIn to comply with LinkedIn's Terms of Use.
- LinkedIn's own help page says it does not permit third-party software that scrapes or automates the site, and accounts using such tools risk restriction.
- Cheapest emails from LinkedIn: Prospeo (100 free credits a month, about 2.45 cents on Starter) and Snov.io (50 free, 3.9 cents on Starter); for phones, Lusha (5 credits) or Kaspr.
Short answer: the best email finder for LinkedIn is Kaspr or Lusha if you also want phone numbers, Prospeo or Snov.io if you want the cheapest verified emails, and Apollo.io if you want to sequence contacts from the same tool. One well-known name is missing on purpose: Hunter says its extension does not work on LinkedIn.
How we checked: we listed only tools whose vendor documents a Chrome extension that works on LinkedIn, then read each vendor's pricing page and credit rules. We did not install or run the extensions. Prices checked on each vendor's own pricing page on November 1, 2026. Some links are affiliate links: if you sign up, the vendor may pay us a commission at no cost to you. It never changes our picks.

What LinkedIn and the vendors say about extensions
LinkedIn's position is stated on its own help page about prohibited software: it says "we don't permit the use of any third party software" that scrapes, changes or automates the site, and its User Agreement bars tools that scrape or copy profiles. LinkedIn says members who use such tools are in violation of the User Agreement and risk a restricted account, and that the tools may stop working without notice.
Vendors respond differently. Hunter's help center says Hunter "cannot be integrated with LinkedIn" because it needs to comply with LinkedIn's Terms of Use, and it replaced its LinkedIn integration with name-and-domain lookups. Kaspr, Lusha, Snov.io, Apollo, Prospeo and RocketReach document extensions that run on LinkedIn pages. Snov.io sells LinkedIn automation slots with randomized daily limits and a dedicated proxy per slot, which tells you the vendor itself sees account risk. Read LinkedIn's terms and decide for your own account; we do not give legal advice.
Kaspr: best for phone numbers inside LinkedIn
Kaspr adds a panel to LinkedIn profiles that shows business email, direct email and phone number. Sales Navigator is supported from Starter and Recruiter Lite from Business. Paid plans make B2B emails unlimited under a fair use policy, so the real limit is phone credits: Starter is $49 per user a month billed yearly ($65 monthly) with 1,200 phone credits a year. You can also bulk-enrich LinkedIn searches, groups and events, or a CSV of LinkedIn URLs.
Pick it if you prospect profile by profile and call your leads. Skip it if you need data outside LinkedIn or built-in sequences.
Lusha: best for direct dials
Lusha says its extension reveals contact and company details directly from profiles, and from Sales Navigator saved leads and search results without leaving the page. Searching is free; an email reveal is 1 credit and a phone 5. Free gives 40 credits a month, and Starter is $49.90 for 400. Revealed contacts can sync to Salesforce or HubSpot on every plan.
Pick Lusha if your reps need mobile numbers for a few dozen named prospects a week. Skip it if you need hundreds of emails a month: about 12.5 cents each is several times what Prospeo or Snov.io charge.
Snov.io: best value for emails plus outreach
Snov.io's LinkedIn Prospect Finder works on LinkedIn profile pages, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator search pages and event pages, and Snov.io says it works with both free LinkedIn and Sales Navigator accounts. Found prospects can go straight into email or combined email and LinkedIn sequences. One credit covers a found email or a verification; Starter is $39 a month for 1,000 credits and Pro S $99 for 5,000. LinkedIn automation costs $69 per account slot a month on top.
Pick Snov.io if you want LinkedIn finding, verification and sequences from one bill. Skip it if phones matter most; they use separately billed enrichment tokens.
Apollo.io: best for profile-to-sequence
Apollo's extension is free to install and, per its FAQ, works on all plans including free. Its help center describes revealing contact data from a LinkedIn profile, from company pages, and from Sales Navigator, where you may need to switch to the standard profile view. Free has 75 credits a month; Basic is $65 per seat monthly for 2,500. An email is 1 credit and a phone 8.
Pick it if you want to add a profile to a sequence or CRM in one click. Skip it if you only need emails occasionally and do not want a full sales platform.
Prospeo: cheapest verified emails
Prospeo's Chrome extension is included on every plan, including Free with 100 credits a month, the largest free allowance here. It charges only for valid results: 1 credit per verified email and 10 per mobile number, with the email included. Starter is $49 per user a month for 2,000 credits, and re-enriching the same lead within 90 days is free.
Pick it if you already have a sender and want low-cost emails from LinkedIn. Skip it if you want sequencing; Prospeo does not send email.

RocketReach: best for named people and personal emails
RocketReach's extension looks up people from LinkedIn and other sites and returns verified work and personal emails, with phones on Pro and Ultimate. Failed lookups are refunded. The free account has 5 lookups; Essentials is $69 a month for 100 lookups, or $399 a year with unlimited lookups and 1,200 exports.
Pick it if you are a recruiter or PR person who needs personal emails for specific people. Skip it if you need volume; it is the most expensive per contact here.
Findymail: for cold email teams
Findymail lists a Chrome extension for B2B social profiles, and its own guide describes opening a lead's professional profile and running the extension to get a verified address. It verifies each email live, guarantees a bounce rate under 5% or refunds credits, and finds phones for non-EU contacts at 10 credits. Sign-up includes 10 free credits; credit plans start at $49 a month.
Pick it if you push leads into Instantly, Smartlead or Lemlist and bounces are your main concern. Skip it if you need EU phone numbers.
What about Hunter?
Hunter is one of the best known email finders, but its extension works on company websites, not LinkedIn, by Hunter's own statement. If you have a name and company from a LinkedIn profile, you can still paste them into Hunter's Email Finder: 50 free credits a month, $49 for 2,000, and no credit used when nothing is found.
How to choose a LinkedIn email finder
- You call prospects: Kaspr (phone credits, unlimited B2B emails on paid plans) or Lusha (5 credits a phone).
- You only need emails, cheaply: Prospeo or Snov.io; both have renewing free plans.
- You want sequences from the same click: Apollo, or Snov.io if you also want LinkedIn automation.
- You recruit or do PR: RocketReach for personal emails, Kaspr Business for Recruiter Lite.
- You want to stay off LinkedIn pages entirely: copy the name and company into Hunter or another name-and-domain finder.
Whichever you pick, start on the free tier, read LinkedIn's terms for your own account, and verify emails before a large send.
