overview
What is Uizard?
Uizard is an AI-powered UI design tool developed by Uizard (company) that enables product teams, designers, and non-designers to create user interfaces. It transforms various inputs into editable design elements, streamlining the initial stages of product development. The platform's primary goal is to accelerate the early stages of product development by transforming ideas into visual designs quickly and efficiently. It leverages artificial intelligence to streamline the UI/UX design process, offering functionalities such as generating UI from text prompts, converting hand-drawn sketches via its Wireframe Scanner, and transforming screenshots into editable designs using the Screenshot Scanner. Users can also utilize a drag-and-drop editor to refine AI-generated designs or build from scratch, supported by a library of pre-made templates and components. Real-time collaboration features facilitate team-based project work and feedback gathering. A significant development was the launch of Autodesigner 2.0 in 2024, which combines Uizard's proprietary models with technologies from Anthropic AI, OpenAI's large language model, and Stability AI's image generation, enabling more complex text prompt design generation and conversational AI for editing. In May 2024, Uizard was acquired by Miro Labs.
