overview

What Treblo does

Treblo generates complete songs with vocals and instruments from a short description, your own lyrics or lyrics it writes for you. You combine tags from a list of 4,160 styles (pop, metal, K-pop, drill, lo-fi and many sub-genres), and the track starts streaming in about 15 seconds while the rest renders. After generation you can rewrite lyrics, regenerate sections you dislike (inpainting), extend a track, cover a song in a new style, remix other users' songs and separate stems. There is an instrumental mode, and songs can be kept private, shared unlisted or published to your profile, groups and the site's radio.

Treblo is run by Sonauto, Inc., a four-person team that renamed the product from Sonauto to Treblo in June 2026; old sonauto.ai links redirect. It runs its own music model (the homepage names it Melodia v3) rather than reselling another lab's. It works in the browser and in an iOS app, and Treblo says it sings well in Latin-alphabet languages, while Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Hindi work but pronunciation may be off.

For people making songs in the app, Treblo is free: its homepage and FAQ promise unlimited songs on its latest model, with no credits and no daily limits, and downloads in OGG, MP3, WAV, FLAC and M4A. No paid consumer plan is listed on the site, and the iOS app is listed as free.

Developers pay for the API:

One song costs 100 credits, and asking for 2 songs at once costs 150. That is $0.055 a song on Starter ($11 / 200), the same on Pro ($88 / 1,600), and $0.06 a song pay-as-you-go. Plan credits reset each billing period; pay-as-you-go credits never expire. Any user-facing product built on the API must credit Treblo.

best for

Who Treblo is best for

Treblo suits hobbyists, video creators who need lots of throwaway tracks, people making personalised gift songs, and developers who want a cheap song API at about 6 cents a song. Because there is no credit meter, it is easy to iterate on a prompt dozens of times.

If you want a bigger community, more polished tools or a long track record, compare Suno. If you want to edit a song by chatting with an assistant and download stems, Google Flow Music is a close alternative. Songwriters working in non-Latin scripts should test pronunciation first, as Treblo itself flags it.

what users say

What users say

The iOS app has 4.8 stars from 437 ratings on the App Store. Under its old name, Sonauto drew mixed comments on Reddit: some users like its melodies and smoother vocals and use it to sketch ideas, while others say it follows lyrics and vocal melody loosely; its Trustpilot page has few reviews. In August 2026 Stereogum reported Treblo's claim that Fenix Flexin's Hot 100 song Rubberz was made with Treblo, based on Treblo's own detector; the artist initially denied using AI.

Frequently asked questions

Is Treblo really free?

Treblo says yes: unlimited songs on its latest model, no credits, no daily limits and no trial cap. No paid consumer plan is listed on its site. Only the developer API is paid, from $11 a month.

Can I use Treblo songs commercially?

Treblo says it places no usage restrictions on songs you create, even on the free tier, and that whatever rights exist in them belong to you, provided what you put in is yours. It points to Section 8 (Output) of its Terms of Service.

Is Treblo the same as Sonauto?

Yes. Sonauto renamed itself Treblo in June 2026 and moved to treblo.com. Accounts, songs and shared links carried over, and the company is still Sonauto, Inc.

Does Treblo have an API?

Yes. API plans start at $11 a month for 20,000 credits (200 songs), with Pro at $88 for 1,600 songs and pay-as-you-go at $0.06 per 100 credits. One song is 100 credits. Products built on it must credit Treblo. See treblo.com/developers/pricing.

What languages can Treblo sing in?

Any language written in the Latin alphabet, such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian and Hindi work, but Treblo warns pronunciation may be off for now.

Was the Billboard Hot 100 AI song made with Treblo?

Treblo's homepage says the first AI-generated song on the Billboard Hot 100 was made with Treblo. Press coverage ties this to Fenix Flexin's Rubberz, identified by Treblo's own detector; the artist first denied using AI, so treat it as Treblo's claim.

Treblo vs Suno: which is better for free users?

On free use Treblo is more generous: unlimited songs and downloads with no usage restrictions, while Suno's free plan has 50 credits a day, no downloads and no commercial rights. Suno has a larger community and more tooling; quality is subjective, so run the same prompt in both.
