Overview
Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) is a free, open-source AI technology designed to create digital models of analog music equipment. It operates by training a neural network on real audio recordings of physical gear, aiming for hyper-realistic emulation. This process allows for the capture of existing hardware's sonic characteristics.
Users can capture and share these digital models, known as NAM profiles, for various equipment including amps, cabs, pedals, and outboard gear. TONE3000 serves as a platform for browsing, uploading, and managing these community-contributed models and Impulse Responses (IRs), providing an open-source option for AI-powered tone modeling.
