Pixfy Review

Pixfy edits an existing photo from a written instruction. You upload one PNG, JPG or WEBP file up to 10 MB, type a change of up to 500 characters ("replace the sky with a sunset, keep the house"), and the selected model redraws that part while trying to keep faces and the rest of the picture. The site recommends one change per edit and running a second edit on the result for the next change. It works on photos, screenshots and graphics.

Pixfy says plainly that it runs on third-party models: Nano Banana (Google), GPT Image 2.5 (OpenAI), Seedream (ByteDance) and FLUX (Black Forest Labs), eight variants in all, with Seedream 5.0 Flash as the default. Around the editor sit single-purpose tools (background remover and changer, object and text remover, enhancer, HD converter, image expander, hairstyle and clothes changers, pixel art, tattoo generator), an image generator and Character Studio for keeping one character consistent across scenes. It runs in the browser and in an iOS app. Pixfy is operated by Cendro Labs Pty Ltd, an Australian company.

Credits are one shared balance. On the homepage, FLUX 3 Klein, Seedream 5.0 Flash and Nano Banana 2 Lite cost 1 credit per edit and the other models 3 to 6 credits (Nano Banana Pro is 6). The pricing page sizes Creator as "up to 100" image generations, background removals or HD upscales, which works out to 3 credits each, so what 300 credits buys depends on the model and tool. Creator works out to about $0.042 a credit ($150 / 3,600) and Pro to about $0.0375 ($270 / 7,200). The pricing page has a Monthly/Annually toggle showing "-29%", but the month-to-month price was not readable. Credits are returned if an edit is blocked or fails.

Pixfy suits people who want one clear change to a real photo (a new background, a removed stranger, a different outfit) from a sentence, and who like being able to switch between several commercial image models in one place. The free credits are enough to judge whether the default model handles your kind of photo.

It is not built for batch work or pixel-exact control; the site itself says so. Sellers who need a catalogue of consistent product shots may prefer Photoroom or Claid. If you need exact masks and layers, use Photopea or Photoshop; to split a flat image into editable layers, see ImageToLayers.

Independent reviews of Pixfy are scarce. Its G2 page and Product Hunt page had few or no written reviews when checked, and most other coverage is directory listings that repeat the vendor's description. Directory summaries describe it as quick and beginner-friendly. Because each edit is a model redraw, Pixfy itself warns that tiny text can shift and fine detail can soften, and recommends rerunning when a face detail drifts.
