overview

What ColdIQ does

ColdIQ resells and routes B2B data. Instead of subscribing to Apollo, People Data Labs, Prospeo, Findymail, FullEnrich, BuiltWith, TheirStack, DataForSEO, Exa and others separately, you call ColdIQ, which says it benchmarks providers on live data and routes each request to the best performer with waterfall fallback. You can also call a specific provider directly. Coverage includes people and company search, email and phone finding with verification, enrichment, tech stacks, job postings and buying signals, plus Visitor ID and mailboxes.

You use it through an agent chat with Projects, through an MCP server in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Hermes Agent, through ColdIQ in Slack, or through a REST API with an OpenAPI spec, and results can be pushed to sequencers such as Instantly. ColdIQ grew out of an outbound sales agency and still links to agency services, but the product on its homepage is the data platform.

Starter credits cost about $0.014 each at the entry tier ($99 / 7,000) and $0.013 at the top tier ($399 / 31,000); Scale credits cost about $0.0125 at entry ($499 / 40,000) and $0.011 at the top tier ($4,999 / 455,000). Each call's credit cost is shown before it runs, and ColdIQ does not publish a per-action credit table. There is no per-seat price: extra users on an account do not change the bill. Annual billing saves up to 10%; annual prices are not listed. One-time credits never expire. Larger volumes go through sales.

best for

Who ColdIQ is best for

ColdIQ suits GTM engineers, RevOps teams and founders who already work in Claude Code or Cursor and want prospect data and enrichment as tool calls, without juggling a dozen vendor contracts and API keys. No seat fees make it cheaper than per-user tools for larger teams.

If you want a spreadsheet-style enrichment workbench, Clay is the better-known choice. If you only need email finding, single providers such as Prospeo or FullEnrich may be cheaper. If you want someone to run outbound for you, ColdIQ's agency side or a dedicated agency is a different purchase from this platform.

what users say

What users say

Third-party reviews mostly cover ColdIQ's earlier agency business, not the data platform. G2 lists 4 reviews averaging 3.8 out of 5: three praise the team's outbound tooling knowledge, and one says the outreach produced no measurable leads. Reviews on Salesforge and LeadHaste are written by competing outbound vendors and agencies. No independent reviews of the credit-based platform were found.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ColdIQ cost?

Free gives 300 credits. Starter runs from $99 a month for 7,000 credits to $399 for 31,000. Scale runs from $499 a month for 40,000 credits to $4,999 for 455,000 and adds unlimited data from ColdIQ's own database. See coldiq.com.

Is ColdIQ an agency or software?

Both, but the homepage product is software: a credit-based data platform with chat, MCP and API access. ColdIQ began as an outbound agency and still links to agency services.

Which data providers does ColdIQ use?

ColdIQ names Apollo, People Data Labs, Prospeo, Findymail, FullEnrich, BuiltWith, TheirStack, DataForSEO and Exa among 40+ providers. You do not sign up with them directly.

Does ColdIQ work with Claude Code or Cursor?

Yes. ColdIQ has an MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Hermes Agent, plus a REST API and a Slack app.

Does ColdIQ charge per seat?

No. There is no per-user license or minimum, and adding users to an account does not change the invoice. You pay for credits.

ColdIQ vs Clay: what is the difference?

Both aggregate many data providers with waterfall enrichment. Clay is built around a spreadsheet-style table and workflows; ColdIQ is built around an agent chat, MCP server and API for use inside AI coding tools.
