Anakin AI Review

Anakin.ai, from Anakin Labs, Inc., puts several AI model families (Anakin names OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, Gemini, Mistral, Llama, Qwen, Grok, Stable Diffusion and DALL-E) behind one account and one credit balance. You can chat with a model, pick one of the pre-built apps in its App Store (the homepage cites 1,000+, from regex and script generators to prompt writers), or build your own with a no-code editor: text generators, chatbots trained on your documents, image generators, drag-and-drop workflows that chain prompts and nodes, and batch jobs. Batch processing is the distinctive part: you point an app at a table and run it across hundreds or thousands of rows to generate content, classify or label data, or extract information.

Anakin runs in the browser (the site says AI apps are not supported on mobile screens) and offers desktop downloads for macOS and Windows. Its docs describe an API for calling your apps from your own software (subscribers only, billed in credits) plus Discord, Telegram and Slack bot integrations. Anakin's homepage still marks chatbot training, the Auto Agent builder and broader app integrations as "Coming Soon". An on-premises option with private LLMs and source-code licensing is sold through sales.

All paid plans list API integration, third-party integration and dedicated client service; the API is available only to subscribers. Paid credits are added on upgrade and reset at the end of each billing cycle. Referrals earn 200 credits for both sides. Cancelling means downgrading to Free, which takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.

Credits are converted from tokens and vary by model. Anakin's model pricing reference (which lists older models) gives, per 1,000 tokens, 0.275 input / 1.375 output credits for Claude 3 Haiku, 3.3 / 16.5 for Claude 3.5 Sonnet and 11 / 33 for GPT-4 Turbo; Stable Diffusion images are estimated at 3-10 credits each. On those rates a GPT-4 Turbo exchange of 1,000 tokens in and 1,000 out costs 44 credits, more than the free daily allowance. The pricing page does not publish rates for the newer models named on the homepage.

Anakin suits marketers, content teams and small businesses that want to try several models from one bill and, above all, run the same prompt over a spreadsheet of products, leads or posts without writing code. The cheap entry price and the batch runner are the main reasons to pick it. It is less suited to people who mainly want the newest frontier model in a polished chat app, to mobile users (the web app is desktop-only), or to anyone who needs predictable per-model costs, since Anakin's published credit rates lag behind the models it advertises.

For a multi-model chat subscription, compare Poe or Magai. For building AI agents and bots with a visual editor, look at Coze or the open-source Dify. If you only need one assistant, ChatGPT directly may be simpler.

There are few reviews. G2 shows 4.0 out of 5 from just 2 reviews; the visible one (marked incentivized) likes the drag-and-drop builder and template library but finds the platform overwhelming for new users and the mobile experience unpolished. A June 2025 hands-on review on Techpoint Africa calls it a solid pick for marketers, small business owners and no-code users, praising batch processing and the app library, but notes a learning curve, limited deep customisation and a desktop-first design; the page is labelled as published in partnership, without saying with whom. Several of the model names and credit rates on Anakin's own pricing page and docs (GPT-3.5, Claude Instant, Claude 3) are dated, so check which current models the app actually offers and what they cost in credits before upgrading.
