AsOf Demo

No-sign-up demo of historical crypto wallet holdings, recorded prices, coverage evidence and CSV exports. Six read-only tools replay fixed public EVM and Solana examples; this is not a free own-wallet scanning tier. Full paid OAuth product: https://asof.xyz/mcp.

Install AsOf Demo in your MCP client

AsOf Demo is a Model Context Protocol server. Add it to your MCP client config once, restart, and the server's tools become available to your AI assistant. The same JSON snippet below works across all four major clients — only the config file path differs.

  1. Locate your client's MCP config file.
    • Cursor: ~/.cursor/mcp.json
    • Claude Desktop (macOS): ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
    • Claude Desktop (Windows): %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
    • VS Code: Settings → Extensions → MCP
    • Windsurf: Settings → MCP Servers
  2. Add AsOf Demo to the mcpServers map — paste the snippet below into your config file. If you already have other MCP servers, merge the entry into the existing mcpServers object.
  3. Restart your client so it picks up the new server.
  4. Verify — ask the assistant to list available tools; AsOf Demo's tools should appear.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "asof-demo": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "@asof-demo/mcp-server"
      ],
      "note": "Replace with the actual package name from the server's documentation."
    }
  }
}

Tools exposed by AsOf Demo

Once installed, AsOf Demo exposes the following MCP tools to your AI assistant. Each tool can be called directly by the assistant whenever its capability is relevant to your prompt.

  • list_demo_wallets

    List the fixed public wallets, snapshot dates and recorded coverage.

  • get_holdings

    Read one listed wallet's precomputed report, paginated; never scan or refresh.

  • retrieve_holdings

    Retrieve recorded sample positions with provenance; same fixed data as get_holdings.

  • get_historical_price

    Read a recorded sample price by symbol or exact contract; no market lookup.

  • export_holdings_csv

    Export all positions from a fixed sample as safe CSV, including price/verification evidence.

  • get_demo_guide

    Explain fixed-snapshot scope and how to connect the separate paid service.

Transport

AsOf Demo supports the following MCP transports. Most AI clients use stdio by default for locally-installed servers.
